I already wrote to you that Amalia and her family moved to Armenia. They arrived in Yerevan following Alexander Afanasyevich Spendiarov, who was invited by the government of the republic, and at first settled near him. Her husband works in a watch shop, that is, in his specialty, and my grandchildren are finishing their studies at the construction (senior) and mining (junior) technical schools. As soon as Amalia settled in Yerevan and told me her address, I invited her to Switzerland for two months.

She addressed the relevant documents to the State Joint-Stock Company «Soviet Tourist» (GAO «Sovtur»), but there is still no rumor or spirit from there. I beg you to make inquiries and, if possible, to intercede for her. If she is allowed to leave, this will most likely be our last meeting: my chronic pneumonia is making itself felt more and more. If it weren’t for my illness, I would have tried to fulfill my hidden dream — to go to Armenia and see it with my own eyes.

I don’t want to end on a sad note. Thank you in advance and I apologize for the inconvenience caused. Sincerely yours, V. Boyajyan. Geneva.
